PRESSER FOOT MECHANISM OF INTEGRATED FEED SEWING MACHINE

To provide a presser foot mechanism of integrated feed sewing machine in which a portion (guide part) for guiding a workpiece of a movable guide piece does not suspend to the needle plate side, when a presser foot is raised after finishing double stitch sewing.SOLUTION: A movable guide piece 16 extending frontward/backward is arranged between a pair of left and right presser foot bodies 12a, 12a provided at a lower part of a presser foot 12, and in the middle, it is connected to the presser foot 12 around a shaft of a pin 15 by the pin 15. At the back of the movable guide piece 16, a locking part 16a is provided, and above the locking part 16a, a restriction member 17 is mounted on an arm 2 in such a manner that the height position is adjustable. A rear end of the movable guide piece 16 is energized downward by a spring 14. When the presser foot bodies are separated from a workpiece during sewing, a front end part 16b of the movable guide piece suspends by a tensile force of the spring 14, comes into contact with the workpiece to guide it, however, when the presser foot is raised after the sewing is finished, the locking part 16a is pressed down by coming into contact with the restriction member 17 and the front end part 16b is raised.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
