To provide a general-purpose attracting band which allows for attaching/detaching garments, personal belongings, or the like by one hand without requiring a large force.SOLUTION: An attracting band 1 comprises a plurality of magnets 3 intermittently disposed in the longitudinal direction between a face cloth having stretchability in the longitudinal direction and a lining cloth. Preferably, the attracting band 1 has a sub-band which is attached to the face cloth. The sub-band has a sub-band body which is at least longitudinally stretchable, fitting projections which are disposed to be aligned in the longitudinal direction of the rear face of the sub-band body, and a hook-and-loop fastener which is disposed on a surface of the sub-band body. The sub-band is attached to the face cloth by fitting the fitting projections to fitting receiving holes 1a and 1b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
