To provide a gas type specifying accuracy adjuster, a simplified gas type specifier, a gas type specifying system, a gas type specifying accuracy adjustment method, and a program with which it is possible to improve the accuracy of specifying the type of a sample gas by a simplified gas type specifier.SOLUTION: When the type of a sample gas specified by a high-accuracy gas type specifier 14 that specifies the type of a sample gas with higher accuracy than a simplified gas type specifier 12 that specifies the gas type of a sample gas by comparing the concentration of each of multiple kinds of gas components and a corresponding threshold among a plurality of thresholds each stipulated for each of the multiple kinds of gas components, is different from the type of a sample gas specified by the simplified gas type specifier 12, a gas type specifying accuracy adjuster 16 changes a specific threshold among the plurality of thresholds so that the type of a sample gas specified by the high-accuracy gas type specifier 14 is specifiable by the simplified gas type specifier 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
