To provide an elevator brake control system capable of easily and promptly conducting a bearing maintenance work.SOLUTION: A brake control system 8 comprises: a body of rotation 13 rotationally driven by a winch motor 11; first and second brake members 24a and 24b disposed so as to be capable of coming into and coming out of contact with the body of rotation 13; first and second rods 25a and 25b respectively connected to these first and second brake members; and an electromagnetic magnet device 26 for driving the first and second brake members via the first rod 25a. One end of the first rod 25a is protruded to the back side of a core 32 of the electromagnetic magnet device 26, and a slide member 43 mounted on one end side of the first rod 25a is slidably supported by a bearing 41 mounted on a bearing cover 42 detachably mounted on the back side of the core 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
