To provide a vehicle information processing device that can achieve protection and utilization of vehicle travel information more efficiently.SOLUTION: A vehicle information processing device 1 includes: a storage unit 31 that stores vehicle travel information which is information concerning traveling of a vehicle; a storage control unit 21 that acquires the vehicle travel information continuously for storage in the storage unit upon encryption; and a determination unit 23 that determines whether or not behavior information of the vehicle has satisfied predetermined conditions. The storage control unit decodes the vehicle travel information corresponding to a predetermined period before the conditions have been satisfied which is a predetermined period prior to condition satisfaction which is the time point when the determination unit determines that the predetermined conditions have been satisfied among pieces of the vehicle travel information encrypted and stored in the storage unit, and stores the vehicle travel information in the storage unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
