To reduce the risk of discharge and water leakage in a high-frequency linear accelerator, and cool the accelerator sufficiently while suppressing the increase in power consumption.SOLUTION: A high-frequency linear accelerator 14 according to an embodiment includes a vacuum container/electrode structure 20 and a cooling member 21. The vacuum container/electrode structure 20 includes a container wall portion 23 that forms a vacuum space 22 therein, and introduces and emits charged particles into the vacuum space 22, and a plurality of electrode portions 24 that protrudes inside the container wall portion 23, is formed integrally with the container wall portion 23, and applies a high frequency to the inside of the vacuum space 22. The cooling member 21 is attached in contact with the outside of the container wall portion 23, and a coolant flow passage 30 is formed therein. The coolant flow passage 30 is isolated from the vacuum space 22 by the vacuum container/electrode structure 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
