PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monkey wrench with a movable jaw set at a predetermined position in which the movable jaw remains stationary to keep an open width unchanged during tightening/loosening a bolt or a nut of an article to be held.;SOLUTION: A monkey wrench comprises: a body 12 marked with a scale 20 indicating an open width W; a movable jaw 13 formed with a female thread 14 in a root part; and an adjustment member 15 formed with a male thread 16, in which the female thread 14 and the male thread 16 are screwed together in a self-locking state.
