To provide an elevator emergency maintenance management system and a method thereof, which facilitates recovery work to be performed promptly when confinement of a user in the elevator car occurs.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, an elevator emergency maintenance management system is configured by connecting an elevator control device, a plurality of mobile phone terminals carried by a maintenance staff, and a service information center device via a communication network. The service information center device includes: a position information recording unit which records position information of a plurality of mobile phone terminals together with corresponding phone number information; and a first communication control unit which specifies the mobile phone terminal closest to the elevator after acquiring a button operation signal of an emergency operation button from the elevator control device, and enables the user in the car to communicate with the maintenance staff carrying the mobile phone terminal of the call destination by using the intercom by performing call origination processing to the specified mobile phone terminal so as to establish phone communication between the elevator control device and the mobile phone terminal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
