PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for improving the driving assisting effect for a rider using an assist display section.;SOLUTION: A speedometer device (220) is used in a straddle-riding type vehicle (100, 102) having an engine (10) and a rotary electric machine (30), in which the power of the engine is assisted by the power of the rotary electric machine. The speedometer device has a speed display section (220) for displaying a running speed of the straddle-riding type vehicle, an assist display section (assist display section 230) for giving a notification that the assistance is performed; and a control section (240) for controlling the notification by the assist display section.
