To provide a buckle, a seat belt wearing detection system and a seat belt wearing detection method which can detect how a seat belt is worn.SOLUTION: A buckle comprises a sensor for outputting an output signal that changes according to a tensile force generated in a seat belt, and a detection unit for detecting a wearing state of the seat belt on the basis of the change in the output signal. A seat belt wearing state detection system comprises a buckle having a sensor for outputting an output signal that changes according to a tensile force generated in the seat belt, and a detection unit for detecting a wearing state of the seat belt on the basis of the change in the output signal. In a seat belt wearing state detection method, the sensor provided in the buckle outputs an output signal that changes according to a tensile force generated in the seat belt, and the detection unit detects a wearing state of the seat belt on the basis of the change in the output signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
