To provide a commodity information generation system, etc. capable of generating commodity information by making a comprehensive determination by using access information to a plurality of media data from the media data which represents a commodity.SOLUTION: A commodity information generation system comprises: a storage part which stores access information used for access from a plurality of terminal devices to commodity media data representing a commodity, in association with the commodity media data; a communication part which receives the commodity media data transmitted from one terminal device; a feature extraction part which extracts feature of the received commodity media data; a similar media acquisition part which, on the basis of the extracted feature, acquires similar commodity media data in which similarity to the received commodity media data is equal to or higher than a predetermined similarity, and the access information in associated with the similar commodity media data, from the storage part; and an information generation part which merges a plurality of pieces of access information of the acquired similar commodity media data to generate commodity information representing the commodity of the received commodity media data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
