To improve a calculation accuracy of a set torque value in a fastening tool which notifies that a fastening torque reaches a prescribed set torque value.SOLUTION: This fastening tool comprises: a head part which is engaged with a fastening member; a housing which supports the head part, and transmits a fastening force for fastening the fastening member to the head part; a fastening force transmission part which reduces a fastening force transmitted to the head part from the housing if a fastening torque, which is generated when fastening the fastening member, reaches a prescribed set torque value; a set torque value adjustment part which can adjust the set torque value by characteristics of change specific to the fastening force transmission part; an operation quantity detection part which detects an operation quantity of the set torque value adjustment part; and a calculation part which calculates an indicated value of the set torque value based on the operation quantity and characteristics of change in the set torque value.
