To provide an electric vehicle system for assisting an electric vehicle user in reserving a rechargeable battery at a charging station.SOLUTION: A reservation assistance unit of an electric vehicle computes an estimated travel distance from a current location of the electric vehicle to a destination, and then computes a remaining drivable distance on the basis of remaining power of a rechargeable battery currently used by the electric vehicle. When the estimated travel distance is greater than the remaining drivable distance, the reservation assistance unit provides charging station information indicating the closest charging station with an available rechargeable battery.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
