To provide a seawater treatment method, a seawater treatment apparatus, and an antifouling apparatus of a seawater utilization structure which are capable of removing chlorine in seawater without adversely affecting an ambient environment.SOLUTION: An antifouling apparatus (seawater treatment apparatus) 20 comprises: a disinfectant supplying mechanism 21 which is disposed in a seawater intake channel 10A and adds a chlorine disinfectant to seawater; and a chlorine removal mechanism 22 which is disposed in a seawater discharge channel 10C and removes chlorine in the seawater supplied with the chlorine disinfectant. The chlorine removal mechanism 22 adds one or more selected from the group consisting of a ferrous ion, an acid-dissolved solution of ferrous sulfate, and hydrogen peroxide to the seawater to remove the chlorine in the seawater.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
