PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an FO (forward osmosis) membrane in which a permeation flow rate is high, and which is excellent also in strength.;SOLUTION: The forward osmosis membrane is characterized as follows. A membrane surface of a semipermeable membrane having the thickness of at most 1 μm and a support together adhere partially with regularity, an adhesion rate of the semipermeable membrane and the support is exceeding 0% and less than 30% of the membrane surface of the semipermeable membrane when observed by right projection.
