To provide an automatic washing device capable of preventing washing water in large quantity from scattering outside a bathtub when a bathtub lid is not used when the bathtub is washed.SOLUTION: An automatic washing device is an automatic washing device for a bathtub. The automatic washing device includes a nozzle and a control machine. The nozzle is installed on the bottom face of the bathtub. The control machine is configured so as to cause the nozzle to jet washing water. An angle of jetting washing water by the nozzle is set so that the jetted washing water does not overflow the uppermost part of the bathtub internal wall surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
