To provide a sorter selection method, a sorter selection program and an information processing unit that can generate a target sorter from a non-objective sorter.SOLUTION: In a sorter selection method, a computer has first and second sorter groups learnt using an object acquired from an input domain having a plurality of objects to be sorted. In the sorter selection method, the computer performs processing to acquire a vector including, as components, evaluation values that the first and second sorter groups output when correct answer data is input. The sorter selection method causes the computer to perform the processing to select a specific sorter group between the first and second sorter groups based upon dispersion relation of acquired vectors.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
