To provide an abrasive grain-dispersed iron-plating grind stone to which a grinding method by electrolytic in-process dressing or a mechanical grinding method is applicable, and which can easily be produced and is capable of grinding metal, glass and the like with high accuracy and high efficiency.SOLUTION: An abrasive grain-dispersed iron-plating grind stone has a base material 1 and an abrasive grain-dispersed iron-plating layer 2 provided on the base material 1. The abrasive grain 2A composing the plating layer 2 is diamond or cBN, and the iron plating layer 2B composing the plating layer 2 is made to be 0 to 2 mass% in a carbon content. In this regard, it is preferable that the carbon content be any one in: a range of 0-0.1 mass% as a grind stone for mirror finish; that of 0.1-0.5 mass% as the stone for precise grinding; and that of 0.5-2 mass% as the stone for high-accuracy grinding process, and also it is preferable that the Vickers hardness of the iron plating layer 2B be in a range of 180-1,100 HV.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
