To provide a cutting tool which further improves defect resistance and wear resistance simultaneously.SOLUTION: A cutting tool includes an end surface, a peripheral side surface intersecting the end surface, and a cutting edge formed on a crossing ridge line part of the end surface and the peripheral side surface. When first and second points A, B are defined on the cutting edge, the first point A protrudes outward the cutting tool than the second point B. The cutting edge has a honing surface. The honing surface has a part of which a width becomes larger gradually toward the second point B from the first point A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
