To improve a printing quality by eliminating moving-speed nonuniformity of paper in printing time, in a printer for continuous paper using an inkjet head.SOLUTION: In a printer 10 for continuous paper for printing on the continuous paper P by using an inkjet system printing head 2, carrying of the continuous paper P is executed by at least one reciprocating actuator 3 provided on the downstream side of the printing head 2 in the paper feeding direction of the continuous paper P and a table 4 driven by respective pieces of the actuator 3, moving the continuous paper P in a temporarily fixed state when moving to the downstream side and moving in a cut-off state from the continuous paper P when moving to the upstream side. The actuator 3 and the table 4 are prepared by even number sets of two sets or more, and when the table of one set carries the continuous paper, printing may be continuously executed by returning the table of the other set to an initial position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
