To provide a gasification apparatus capable of stably supplying a syngas having a small amount of impurities and a high carbon monoxide concentration.SOLUTION: A gasification apparatus 20 is an apparatus for gasifying waste w containing an organic compound to produce a syngas sg mainly containing carbon monoxide. The gasification apparatus 20 comprises: a pyrolysis furnace 30 that separates the waste w into a combustible gas cg and an unburned carbide C, a combustion furnace 40 that burns the combustible gas to produce an incombustible gas ig mainly composed of carbon dioxide, and a reforming furnace 60 that reacts the carbide and the incombustible gas to produce the syngas mainly composed of carbon monoxide.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
