To properly arrange an optical sensor.SOLUTION: A vehicle display operation device includes: a case including a viewing surface viewed by an occupant in a vehicle, an operation part which is at least partially provided closer to the vehicle grip side than a center of the viewing surface within the viewing surface, a display part which is at least partially provided closer to the vehicle stem side than the center in the viewing surface and closer to the stem side than the operation part, and a window provided between the operation part and the display part within the viewing surface and allows visible light to pass; an optical sensor which detects the visible light that has passed through the window; and a fixture which fixes the case to a handle of the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
