To provide a heat insulation coating composition that can exhibit not only sufficient heat insulation property as an aqueous two-liquid type coating composition to be coated on an asphalt pavement, but also can form a coating having coating strength, durability of a degree applicable also to a carriage way, and has excellent quick-drying property, a heat insulation paint coating method, and a heat insulation pavement.SOLUTION: A heat insulation coating composition including: as a coating forming binder component, a main agent including a hydroxide group-containing normal temperature cross-linking polymer emulsion polyol in which polyurethane having a hydrazine structure and a carbonyl group-containing acrylic polymer are contained, hydroxy group-containing acryl emulsion polyol, and hydroxy group-containing polyurethane dispersion polyol, furthermore, as needs arise, cellulose nanofiber as a coating strength improving agent, and a coloring pigment; and a reactive film-forming aide made of a polymer that cures a film by a cross-linking reaction with a binder functioning also as a curing agent.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
