To provide a parking position guide device, parking position guide method, computer program, and recording medium for recording the computer program.SOLUTION: A parking position guide method is the method for guiding information related to a parking position of a vehicle of a user parked in a parking lot of a facility to the user. A parking position guide device includes a facility database where position information of a facility is associated with parking lot information related to a parking lot. The method includes: a step of determining whether a user has exited from a facility to go to a parking lot or is intending to exit from the parking lot; a step of starting sub-routine processing when a determination result indicates that a user has exited to go to the parking lot or is intending to exit; performing guidance on the basis of a sub-routine processing resu and performing processing to select a mode to turn on the guidance when a progress direction of a user after exiting to go to the parking lot is not appropriate with respect to a direction of a parking position of a vehicle and to turn off the guidance when the progress direction is appropriate concerning the sub-routine processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
