To provide a DA converter reducing secondary harmonic distortion more precisely with a convenient configuration.SOLUTION: A DA converter and a DA conversion method include a DA conversion section receiving a reference voltage and a digital value, and outputting an analog signal according to the digital value on the basis of the reference voltage, and a superposition section for superposing a superposition signal, based on the analog signal outputted from the DA conversion section, on the reference voltage. The DA converter may further include a setting input section inputting the setting for at least one of the superposition amount and the mark of the analog signal contained in the superposition signal.
