To provide a feed for bivalves capable of sufficiently reducing a feed cost occupying a large portion of a production cost without decreasing a growth promoting effect of the feed, and a method for producing bivalves by using the same.SOLUTION: A feed 3 for bivalves is used in producing a bivalve seedling and composed of an existing feed 1 and fermented milk 2; yoghurt can suitably be used as the fermented milk 2; floating phytoplankton, particularly nannochloropsis can be used as the existing feed 1; and commercially available appropriate plain yoghurt can be used as the yoghurt.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
