To provide a transmission device and an alarm processing method that are reduced in load of alarm gathering processing.SOLUTION: A transmission device has: a first reception part which receives a multiple signal having a plurality of signals multiplied; a plurality of second reception parts which receive the plurality of signals respectively; a detection part which detects alarms associated with the multiple signal and the plurality of signals; a storage part which stores the alarms that the detection part detects; and a gathering part which gathers detection results of the alarms from the storage part. The gathering part determines from which of the alarm associated with the multiple signal and the alarm associated with the plurality of signals the detection results of the alarms begin to be gathered according to a detection result of an alarm which is an alarm associated with the plurality of respective signals, and exerts an influence from the multiple signal to the plurality of signals lastly according to correlation between the multiple signal and the plurality of signals.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
