To provide a productivity evaluation system and a method for evaluating the productivity that increase the productivity of the entire production line by accurately analyzing and grasping the state of production of a manufacturing device forming the production line.SOLUTION: The productivity evaluation system includes: an operating information storage device 170 for collecting information including the time of start of manufacturing, the time of end of manufacturing, and error generation time for each product from a manufacturing device 200, determining the presence or absence of generation of errors in the operation time for each product, and storing operation information; and a productivity evaluation device 100 for extracting normal record operation information 124 showing no errors generated in the collection time from the operating information storage device and calculating the static value 125 of the record operation time for each collection interval of the normal record operation information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
