PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt meander preventing device of automatic alignment type, which is used to automatically correct deviation such as displacement or meander of a belt.;SOLUTION: A belt meander preventing device comprises: a plurality of pulleys 2, each of which is disposed rotatably around a pulley shaft 1 of a belt conveyer; detectors 3 which are disposed to face sides of the belt of the belt conveyer to detect deviation of the sides; and a linking mechanism 4 which is disposed movably in the belt width direction to connect it with the plurality of pulleys and the detectors. The pulley shaft has a plurality of fulcrum parts 11 which are formed to face each of the plurality of pulleys. The plurality of pulleys are supported on the pulley shaft tiltably in the traveling direction of the belt by engaging with the plurality of fulcrum parts.
