To provide a prefilled syringe capable of improving usability and securing safety for a long period of time.SOLUTION: The prefilled syringe filled with dexmedetomidine injection solution, includes: a syringe barrel 6; a sealing cap 5 closely sealing a tip end of the syringe barrel 6; a plunger 9; a gasket 8 stored in the syringe barrel 6 and capable of liquid-tightly sliding inside the syringe barrel 6; and a dexmedetomidine injection solution 7 with a dexmedetomidine concentration of 1 μg/mL-10 μg/mL stored in the syringe barrel 6. The gasket 8 includes a fluororesin layer at a portion coming into contact with the dexmedetomidine injection solution 7. The prefilled syringe 4 filled with the dexmedetomidine injection solution is characterized in that, when being stored under a temperature of 60°C±1°C, and humidity of 75%±5% RH, the number of 5 μm or more insoluble fine particles included in the injection solution after a lapse of 10 days after a start of the storage is 20-135.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
