To provide a detector position measurement method allowing for acquisition of an accurate detector position and a neutron flux level corresponding to the detector position.SOLUTION: A traversing in-core probe system is provided that measures in-core neutron flux distribution by inserting a traversing neutron flux detector into a core and traversing the inserted detector. The traversing in-core probe system includes: a drive device performing insertion or pulling out of the traversing neutron flux detector and outputting signal of a position of the detector; a driving control device reading the position signal output from the drive device and outputting a detector position ramp wave signal having a predetermined period as an analog signal; and a computer that acquires detector position by counting a detector position ramp wave signal, and concurrently scans a neutron flux level output from the traversing neutron flux detector using the rise of the ramp wave signal as a trigger, and scans detector position ramp wave signal output from the driving control device, thereby removing deviation between the neutron flux level and the detector position caused by internal processing time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
