METHOD FOR DETECTING ABNORMAL CONDENSATION OF CHROMATIN

To provide a new method for detecting an abnormal condensation of chromatin by identifying phosphorylated peptide required for chromosome condensation, using an early chromosome condensation which can induce chromatin condensation alone from an interphase cell and by using the degree of phosphorylation of the peptide as an index.SOLUTION: (1) The method for detecting an abnormal condensation of chromatin includes the steps of: measuring the degree of phosphorylation of at least one type of protein selected from the group of AHCTF1, ATRX, BAZ1A, BAZ1B, CBX8, CDCA8, CHAF1A, CTDSPL2, CSNK2B, DNTTIP2, DSG2, ELAVL1, GTF21, HDGF, Histone H4, H2AFY, HMGA1, HP1BP3, ILF3, KIF22, KIF4A, LIG3, LMNA, MKI67, MBD1, MLL, MTA1, MYBBP1A, NONO, NUMA1, NUP107, PARP2, PLK1, PSIP1, RAI1, RRP1B, SAFB2, SGOL1, TCF20, TERF2, TFPT, TMPO α, TMPO β/γ, TUBA1B, UTP14A, VIM, ZC3HAV1, ZNF280C, and ZNF512B in the cell group of a detection target including cells in a division stage or cells that an early chromosome condensation can induce; and comparing the measured degree with the degree of phosphorylation of the protein in a comparison cell group and making an evaluation that an abnormal condensation of chromatin has been detected if the above degree in the cell group of the detection target is lower.SELECTED DRAWING: None
