PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle cap capable of checking an exit angle of a light beam, while protecting a needle, and an OCT optical probe with the needle cap.;SOLUTION: A needle cap is detachably attached to a handpiece of an OCT optical probe for protecting a needle, the OCT optical probe including the handpiece extending in a first direction, and a rod-like needle extending from one end of the handpiece in the first direction. The needle cap includes: a cylindrical body part extending in the first direction; a position regulation part that is provided at a proximal end side of the body part in the first direction, and fixes a position of the body part in the first direction relative to the handpiece; and a mark that is provided at a distal end side of the body part in the first direction and represents an allowable range in the first direction of a position where light beam exited from the distal end of the needle, intersects with the body part.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
