To provide an electric power generation plant performance evaluation method capable of determining performance variation of an electric power plant according to the present invention.SOLUTION: An electric power generation plant performance evaluation method according to the present invention comprises the steps of: acquiring a plurality of pieces of operation data and external factor variation data in each unit time representing operation states in a predetermined reference period of an electric generation plant and an evaluation period after the period; selecting, as object operation data, operation data having a certain correlation with the external factor variation data of the plurality of pieces of operation data acquired in the reference period, and finding correlation between the object operation data and the external factor data; deriving alternative operation data based upon a correlation function with respect to the operation data corresponding to the external factor variation data acquired in the evaluation period; and comparing the alternative operation data with actual operation data acquired in the evaluation period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
