To provide a method for quantitatively evaluating crack resistance of a consumable electrode at timing before re-melting the consumable electrode after primary dissolution of NCF718 alloy.SOLUTION: There is provided an evaluation method of crack resistance of a consumable electrode for re-melting an Fe-Ni-based heat resistant superalloy having a composition of NCF718 alloy, including collecting a base material of a breaking toughness test piece from a position of d/2 to d/4 (d:diameter) from a surface layer of the consumable electrode, conducting a homogenization heat treatment on the base material of the breaking toughness test piece, conducting breaking toughness test by using the base material of breaking toughness test piece after the homogenization heat treatment to calculate a breaking toughness test value, and evaluating crack resistance of the consumable electrode from the breaking toughness test value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
