To manage a lending state of equipment at a low cost.SOLUTION: A lending management device 100 according to an embodiment comprises: a position specification unit 113 for specifying a position of equipment lent out to a user and a position of a portable communication terminal used by the user; a reservation information management unit 112 for acquiring reservation information indicative of the next reservation of equipment made by a person who has made a reservation; a return determination unit 114 for determining whether or not equipment is returned to a predetermined position after the reservation information management unit acquired the reservation information on the equipment; a holding determination unit for determining that the user holds the equipment if the return determination unit does not determine that the equipment has not been returned and also the position of the equipment is located within a first range with the position of the portable communication terminal defined as a reference; and a notification unit for notifying the person who has made a reservation of information indicating the user who is determined to hold the equipment by the holding determination unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
