To provide technology, when refractories are piles up and furnace construction is performed, capable of efficiently performing required operations, and capable of attaining the labor saving of the operations.SOLUTION: A movable body device for furnace construction operations comprises, when furnace construction is performed by using refractories and mortar, a movable body moving through the upper faces of the piled-up refractories and a running member running the movable body at the upper faces of the refractories.
