PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated submerged caisson body, a method for installing the same, and a method for installing and joining the submerged caisson body.;SOLUTION: An integrated submerged caisson body 1 includes a standard submerged caisson body 1, and water cut-off joints 2 that are sealed and annularly extended and contracted are installed on both ends of the standard submerged caisson body 1. The finally joined submerged caisson body is still a standard embedded joint, and accordingly the same base as that of a general joint is used, a rigidity difference does not exist, a risk of non-uniformly settling the joint during an operation period of a submarine tunnel is effectively reduced, and the same installation facility can be used for installation of the finally joined submerged caisson body and installation of the other embedded joint.
