To provide an elution suppression method of heavy metals capable of conducting elution suppression of heavy metals easily and at low cost and an elution suppression material thereof.SOLUTION: In the method, by mixing coal ashes, bran, cements, etc. (step S1-S3), elution of heavy metals involved in coal ashes are suppressed. Here, coal ashes, bran, cements, etc. are mixed together and can be granulated to give granules (step S4), and surface layers of the granules can be covered with solidification materials (step S5).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
