PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-pro-oxidant glucosyl octyl ascorbic acid derivative and preparation and use thereof.SOLUTION: An ascorbic acid derivative is realized which has high safety and high physiological activity in which the ascorbic acid radical generation is reduced to suppress the pro-oxidant effect by producing high purity glucosyl octyl ascorbic acid.
