To provide a display-purpose dual display light source device and dual display image generation method.SOLUTION: A dual display light source device 3 is a display-purpose dual display light source device that comprises: first light source means 31 that has a plurality of light emitting diodes 312 projecting light of at least one kind of a wavelength of a wavelength region of a visible light beam, and can cause a first light signal to be displayed; and non-visible second light source means 32 that has a micro light emitting diode 322 projecting light of at least one kind of a wavelength of a wavelength region of a non-visible light beam, and can generate a non-visible second light signal. A dual display image generation method is configured to: drive the light emitting diode 312 projecting the light of the wavelength of the wavelength region of the visible light beam and display the visible first light signal on a display area of a display; and drive the micro light emitting diode 322 projecting the light of the wavelength of the wavelength region of the non-visible light beam and display the non-visible second light signal different from the first light signal on the display area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
