PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transformation matrix calculating apparatus, a location estimating apparatus, a transformation matrix calculating method, and a location estimating method capable of accurately estimating the location of each moving object at each time.;SOLUTION: A transformation matrix calculating apparatus according to the embodiment associates a first locus and a second locus estimated as a movement locus of the same moving object with each other based on the similarity between the first locus and the second locus. The first locus is the movement locus of the moving object detected from the image in the first coordinate system. The second locus is the movement locus of the moving object, which holds a location sensor generated from the time series data of the location information outputted by the location sensor, in the second coordinate system.
