PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base fabric for a foamed-resin based heat insulating material which an engaging force between the foamed resin and a contact surface of the foamed resin (surface of base fabric for face material) can be improved when producing it, the tear strength can be increased, thereby there is no break in the foaming process of the foamed resin, and there is no worry about cracking or breaking during transportation and construction of the heat insulating material.;SOLUTION: A foamed-resin based heat insulating material of this invention comprises a surface layer containing a glass fiber, a cellulose fiber and a fibrous binder, a back surface layer containing the cellulose fiber and the fibrous binder, and a resin composition containing a pigment and a binder coated on the surface layer side, in which the surface layer contains a core-sheath type polyester conjugate fiber as the fibrous binder, the proportion of said core-sheath type polyester conjugate fiber is 1 -10 mass% with respect to all fibers in the surface layer.;SELECTED DRAWING: None;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
