To provide a technique of suppressing compression of a bandwidth by name resolution processing with respect to communication with an IoT device.SOLUTION: The server device that communicates with an IoT device includes: an acquisition unit that acquires operation information transmitted from the IoT device and including at least one piece of information obtained as a result of an operation of the IoT device and information requesting permission for an operation of the IoT device; a control unit that stores the operation information in a storage device; and a response unit that generates a response including DNS information of the server device as a response to acquisition of the operation information, and transmits the response to the IoT device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
