Various embodiments of the present invention relate to a dicarboxylic acid compound comprising an electron withdrawing group, and in one embodiment the compound may further comprise alkenes related to the electron withdrawing group. Various embodiments of the present invention relate to dicarboxylic acid alkyl ester compounds containing electron withdrawing groups, and in one embodiment such compounds further comprise alkenes related to the electron withdrawing group.
