PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that can correct a curl generated in a recording medium during double-sided printing without preventing skew correction of the recording medium.;SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus (300) comprises: transfer devices (13A, 13B) for transferring an image to a recording medium; a registration roller pair (11) for adjusting the timing to convey the recording medium to the transfer devices; a fixing device (20) for fixing the image transferred to the recording medium to the recording medium; a conveyance path (40) for conveying the recording medium passing through the fixing device again to the registration roller pair during double-sided printing; a pressing device (43) for pressing the recording medium; and a control device for controlling the pressing device to press the recording medium in a direction from an untransferred surface to a transferred surface of the recording medium, while the recording medium conveyed through the conveyance path is held by the registration roller pair.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
