To provide a method for stabilizing vitamin C in high-pressure steam sterilized nutrition infusion for peripheral intravenous administration.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for stabilizing vitamin C in nutrition infusion for peripheral intravenous administration which is high-pressure steam sterilized and blended with vitamin in which sugar solution containing reducing sugar and amino acid solution containing amino acid are housed in each chamber of a multi-chambered container partitioned by a communicable partition wall, in which the nutrition infusion for peripheral intravenous administration encapsulated together with deoxidizer in an outer packaging material made of a gas-impermeable multilayer film having light-shielding property, a chamber in which the sugar solution is housed and a chamber in which the amino acid solution is housed are communicated only when used and both solutions are mixed, citric acid concentration in transfusion after the sugar solution and the amino acid solution are mixed is 5 to 15 mEq/L, the content of vitamin C in transfusion at the point of 24 hours after the sugar solution and the amino acid solution are mixed is 90% or more the content of vitamin C in transfusion immediately after the sugar solution and the amino acid solution are mixed.SELECTED DRAWING: None
