PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile structure which has a simple configuration, can reduce the amount of cement milk to be used, has excellent adhesion property to the ground, and can sufficiently act against pressure in a horizontal direction.;SOLUTION: A pile structure 1 comprises: a steel pipe pile 2 as a foundation pile buried in the ground; and a columnar improvement body 3 formed around the steel pipe pile 2 and formed of sediment solidified by cement. The columnar improvement body 3 is formed from the ground surface to a depth L2 shorter than a length L1 of the steel pipe pile 2. A tip blade 2A is attached to a lower part of a steel pipe of the steel pipe pile 2.
