To provide a loupe mounting position determination method for binocular loupe device capable of attaching a binocular loupe device at a proper position and angle in accordance with the pupil position in the near vision of a user in assembling the binocular loupe device.SOLUTION: The loupe mounting position determination method comprises the steps of: fixing a rectangular transparent measurement auxiliary plate 26 to a frame 25 before any loupe is attached; putting the frame 25 on a user's face; picking up an image of the user who looks at a working position P in a near vision using a camera 22 from the working position P to obtain a first image; subjecting the first image to a series of arithmetic processing using a computer 23; measuring coordinates of four vertices of measuring auxiliary plate and left and right pupils in user's near vision position on the first image; and determining the loupe mounting position and/or mounting angle in the plane of the plate member on the basis of the measurement.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 19
