To provide an organic light-emitting diode with efficiency optimized by plasmon suppression.SOLUTION: An organic light-emitting diode comprises a first electrode EL1, a stack EO of semiconducting organic layers, comprising at least one light-emitting organic layer, and a second electrode EL2 in this order. The first electrode EL1 comprises at least one region CE in electrical contact with the stack EO of semiconducting organic layers and surrounded by one or more regions MB electrically insulated from the stack. Each electrically insulated region MB is structured to form at least one Bragg mirror adapted to reflect plasmons PL with a wavelength λ of emission from the light-emitting layer guided by an interface between the first electrode EL1 and the stack EO of semiconducting organic layers.
